Healthy Communities

We believe communities are rich in knowledge, creativity and innovation. Our goal remains to stimulate and showcase the many ways that communities build, come together and share ideas. We supported the Public Learning Workshop (Charity registered in Scotland SC051053) which created a series of educational posters on ecology, gardening, composting, plant identification, and plant sources of Vitamin C. Public Learning Workshop created resources that compliment school curriculum, provide deeper or alternative insights into ecological subjects, and place these resources in communities on streets near schools to engage 11–16-year-olds in urban areas. These were delivered in advertising space on roadside billboards, and at bus-stops close to secondary schools across Scotland. They reached over 580,000 people, across 14 sites.
